Accreditation/APR             Be a resource between statewide accreditation program and local resource for those interested in and pursuing accredit

Assembly Delegate             Represent chapter and vote on behalf of the board and members at the PRSA National Conference, held once a year (traditionally in October)

Ethics Officer (APR)
            Be a resource for professionals engaged in ethical dilemmas and provide ethics code and other information to membership.

      Track membership, provide monthly membership updates, solicit new members and provide value to members. The Membership Committee’s responsibilities will be changing as we procure an online system to assist with communications, reservations, payment and reporting.

Nominating Committee (3)      
Position Open
      The Nominating Committee will have no fewer than three members, appointed by the president with approval of the board of directors, at least 60 days prior to the Annual meeting of the Chapter (traditionally the December program meeting). The committee will identify and solicit chapter members for board and committee positions between 60 and 30 days prior to the Annual meeting. The Nominating Committee will notify chapter members of the slated board 30 days prior to the annual meeting. This may be done via email to members or posted on the chapter’s website.

Program Committee

      The Program Committee secures speakers and sponsors for monthly program meetings and provides information regarding programs to Public Relations/Publicity Committee, Webmaster and chapter board.

PRSSA Liaison             Maintain and develop relations with University of Oregon Public Relations Student Society of America. Support PRSSA as an organization and be a resource of information about PRSA. Encourage PRSSA members to partake in and support GOPRSA through program meeting attendance and GOPRSA projects.

Public Relations/Publicity       Lisa Lawton
